In 2003 the SFWC really started to gain in popularity so
we decided to invite a select band of ‘on-trade’ experts on board. My French
friend Regis was the first. Regis was Head of Bars at Gleneagles when we approached
him - following a decade of developing the whisky offerings at The Old Course,
St Andrews - and has now launched his own whisky consultancy, specialising
in tutored whisky courses, whisky dinners and superb single casks.Huge gallic
